I am not a webmaster but a wordpress user that hosted several blogs at some web hosting companies. I have been learning to install wordpress manually since May 2007. I uploaded wordpress 2.1.2 (Wiro Sableng) using Fire FTP to a free web hosting. But, the blog was gone because the free web hosting owner has deleted it.
It’s no problem to learn installing wordpress at a free web hosting, but if you want to be a professional blogger you should forget the free web hosting or the bad one.
